FAQ
How do I measure for Bimini straps?
Measure an existing strap end-to-end, or the run from the frame mount to the deck/eye. Pick the length range that covers your measurement (each kit lists adjustable ranges).
Why pairs?
Most boats replace the two bow or two stern straps together. Kits are matching pairs. Full canopy replacements usually need two kits (four straps).
Do I need a tightener and a hook?
Yes. Every kit requires a strap tightener and at least one hook type. The common setup is a hook on one end and a sewn loop on the other, with the tightener somewhere along the length — not always in the middle.
Should I replace footman loops and pad eyes?
Usually no. Mounts often outlast the webbing. Only add footman loops or D-ring pad eyes if yours are corroded, missing, or bent.
What is Snap-It Marine?
Snap-It Marine Products Distributor is our separate all-white boat accessory line (drink holders, mounts, etc.). It does not mix into the Bimini strap builder.
